Today (May 14) marks the first day of the fourth edition of the AUDC. All roads lead to host Islamic International University in Malaysia as debaters from all over the Asian continent compete through rigorous rounds of Asian Parliamentary debate to determine the finest.
The past three AUDCs were all won by Ateneo de Manila University. Serving as Chief Adjudicator for the tournament is Muhammad Abdul Latif of Malaysia, Priyam Saraf of Singapore, Sir Martin Cortez of the Philippines and Ravi Prajapati of Thailand.
There will be eight institutions representing the Philippines. The schools in the hunt for the title of best in Asia include Ateneo de Manila University, University of the Philippines Diliman, University of the Philippines Manila, University of the Philippines Los Banos, De Lasalle University, College of Saint Benilde, Xavier University and the Lyceum of the Philippines.
