Ateneo de Manila retained the Square Off crown after the triumvirate of Steph Co, Miko Biscocho and Gica Mangahas bested the trio from UP Diliman. This gives Ateneo de Manila a subsidized pass to the Asians Universities Debating Championship next week hosted by Islamic International University of Malaysia.

UP Diliman was represented by Aaron Chan, Anna Arcellana and Joan Atienza. Ateneo de Manila won the first Square Off Championship last year with Sharmila Parmanand and Charisse Boromeo.
